Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine has been dealing with knee soreness for most of the season and missed the final three games of the first half prior to the All-Star Break. The high-flying guard took that time to travel to Los Angeles and get some treatment on his knee and on Saturday at All-Star Weekend, LaVine revealed that he's feeling a lot better because of it.

Via ESPN's Brian Windhorst:

“I wanted to go out there and make sure everything was good,” the Bulls star said after Team Durant practice Saturday. “I've been battling the knee soreness for a little bit, not playing at 100 percent, but I want to continue to go out there and try to help us win. So the last three games I had to really just take it upon myself to make sure I was OK for the second half of the season. I feel way better.”

LaVine plans to play for Team Durant on Sunday, which is a good sign for Bulls fans. Chicago is looking like a legitimate contender at 38-21 and his long-term health will be extremely important to just how far this team can go in the playoffs.

While LaVine's knee is in much better shape after seeing specialists, he noted it won't be at 100% until the offseason:

“It will get me through the end of the season, and in the offseason I'll be able to take care of it and try to get myself 100 percent,” LaVine said. “The season is important enough for me personally, I'll be able to go out there and play and do what I have to do still.”

By the sounds of it, LaVine is hopeful he can play at a high enough level to help the Bulls make a postseason run. Alongside DeMar DeRozan, the sky is truly the limit for Chicago with their star duo.
