The Chicago Bulls are off to great start to the season as they beat the Boston Celtics 105-99 in their season opener on Thursday night.

But it wasn't just all fun for them as things got a little chippy late in the second quarter.

Jae Crowder grabbed a rebound when Jimmy Butler drew the charge and their legs got entangled which caused Crowder to fall as well. Rajon Rondo and Isaiah Thomas then ran to the scene and had a scuffle. The good news was cooler heads prevailed but technical fouls were issued to the players involved.

After the game, Butler thanked Rondo and Dwyane Wade for backing him up. Although it might be a little sarcastic for Wade as he was clearly seen just shooting a casual three while the incident was happening.

The intensity of the players just goes to show how much they treat each game whether it's the first or the 82nd of the year. If this is the type of action fans can expect night in and night out, it will definitely be one of the most entertaining and competitive seasons of the NBA.
