In the last two episodes of The Last Dance, a classic clip of Steve Kerr roasting Michael Jordan was shown. During the championship parade, Kerr went on stage and explained what really happened in the timeout before he hit the game-winning shot in Game 6 that sealed the title for them.

Golden State Warriors fans are already familiar with Kerr's wit and sarcasm. But little do they know that Kerr already had these witty tricks up his sleeve back in his playing days. And he didn't hesitate to display it even in front of hundreds or even thousands of Bulls fans at the 1997 championship parade.

The actual huddle was caught on tape. Michael Jordan was aware that the double team was coming and so he asked Kerr to be ready. Kerr willingly accepted the challenge and as they say, the rest is history.

But from Kerr's point of view, he was the prime option all along. He further beefed up his argument by claiming that Jordan was not really comfortable in high-pressure situations. And so head coach Phil Jackson set up a play for him.

Jokes aside, Kerr has had a terrific basketball career. In The Last Dance, light was shed on Kerr's life on and off the court. Before attaining glory with the Bulls, Kerr was pretty much a journeyman — moving from team to team waiting for that break to come. And off the floor, tragedy struck when his father, Malcolm Kerr, was assassinated in 1984.

And for the past few years, he has led the Golden State Warriors to three titles in five attempts. Indeed, Kerr has been living a great life.
