Derrick Rose has been having an amazing season thus far with the Detroit Pistons as he continues his career resurrection over the last couple of years. How fitting would it be that he is playing his best basketball and has a chance to go back to Chicago to face off against the Bulls?

Back in his prime, Rose was the heart and soul of the Bulls and was the face of their franchise. He won an MVP award and led the Bulls to many good seasons. Unfortunately, injuries completely derailed his career and the direction that Chicago was trying to head in.

In his return to Chicago with the Pistons, Rose was welcomed with open arms by the fans. They gave him a standing ovation and also gave him MVP chants as well.

Maybe someday we'll get a chance to see Rose put on the Bulls uniform once again, but for now fans will have to settle for watching their team play against him.
