The Chicago Bulls have had mixed success this season.

Expectations were high at the start of the season with the additions of Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo, but there was also plenty of speculation with many wondering how the fit would work.

Despite an injury that still has Wade out, the Bulls look like they will make the playoffs when Wade will possibly be able to return.

Jimmy Butler has led this late-season charge while point guard Rajon Rondo has also emerged as a key contributor, especially as a perimeter shooter. He's hit over 45 percent of his 3-pointers in March and is now actually the Bulls' second-best 3-point shooter on the season.

Rondo spoke about how the season has gone recently and went into detail about how intense some practices have become.

That is right on with how Rondo likes it and possibly is contributing to his improved play of late.

Practices can definitely get chippy in the NBA and it's not totally uncommon for players to nearly get into fights. With the Bulls still in search of that extra gear, this kind of intensity behind the scenes may be just what they need to make a run in the postseason.
