LeBron James brought the city of Cleveland its first championship in 52 years when he led the Cavaliers to a stunning NBA Finals victory over the 73-win Golden State Warriors in 2016. Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett wants to follow in LeBron's footsteps and finally get the Browns on the board when it comes to a Super Bowl victory.
The Browns made several key additions to their defensive line in the offseason, bringing in Jadeveon Clowney and Malik Jackson as sidekicks for Garrett. Now, Garrett needs to be the LeBron of the group.

“Well, hell, I have to prove that I'm LeBron first before anything. I have to prove that I'm the playmaker at all levels. Hell, he's top three in any debate that you have.”
Myles Garrett is a star-level player, but he has some work to do to be the LeBron James of this Browns defense. Garrett has put up impressive numbers so far in four years, racking up 42.5 sacks while making two Pro Bowls and getting one First-Team All-Pro honor last season. But as good as he is, he hasn't been transcendently dominant like James.
Garrett has the talent to be the best defensive player in the NFL, and he's primed to challenge for that award this season as he leads Cleveland. The Browns are trying to take the next step after an impressive 2020 campaign in which they finally ended their lengthy playoff drought. They have the roster in place to be a Super Bowl contender, and now they just need to go out and prove they have what it takes.
