During a Dallas Mavericks offensive possession late in the third quarter against the L.A. Clippers, head coach Doc Rivers slipped and fell to the ground. He was arguing with an official and karma gave him a tumble.

Thankfully Rivers got up on his own power and seemed unharmed. However, its always concerning to see anyone, especially older men and women, take any kind of fall.

After the game Doc Rivers spoke to reporters and mentioned he was worried that he might have torn a ligament on the fall — thankfully it seems Rivers is fine for now.

The Clippers ended up winning the game, 125-121. Danillo Gallinari scored a game-high 32 points on 11-of-16 shooting, as well as contributing six rebounds and four assists.Ā Lou Willians had 26 points and eight assists, and Tobias Harris scored 16 points and also added nine rebounds and five assists.

For the Mavs, it was the two-man show of Luka Doncic and DeAndre Jordan. Doncic had 32 points on 10-of-20 shooting, while also adding four rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Jordan was a beast inside, scoring 11 points and grabbing a monstrousĀ 22 rebounds while also dishing out four assists. Harrison Barnes had 16 points, J.J. Barea had 19 points, and Devin Harris also contributed 13 for the night. However, it was not enough for the Mavs to top the Clippers at home.

TheĀ  Clippers are 18-11 on the season and currently sit sixth in the NBA's Western Conference. They will play the Denver Nuggets next this upcoming Saturday at home.
