The Dallas Mavericks will be taking on the Memphis Grizzlies in the Play-In Tournament for a chance to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs. Anthony Davis is listed on the injury report with a left adductor strain, and his availability will be important as the Mavericks try to advance.
Health has been the one culprit of the Mavericks' season, but it looks like everybody is back at the right time. They were able to defeat the Sacramento Kings 120-106 in their first play-in game, and they're looking to do the same thing this time around against the Grizzlies, who are also dealing with injuries themselves.

Anthony Davis' injury status vs. Grizzlies
Article Continues BelowDavis is listed as probable against the Grizzlies, and he'll be ready to go to help the Mavericks advance to the playoffs. It's been a rough season for the Mavericks, but making it to the playoffs would be big and could take a little heat off what has happened this year. If the Mavericks want any chance of winning the game, Davis is going to have to show up as his best self, like he did against the Kings, where he finished with 27 points and nine rebounds.
Davis has been in this type of win-or-go-home situation, and he's also been in playoff situations where he knows he has to perform at a high level. This is one of those times, and there's no doubt he will bring it.
It won't just be up to him, but the rest of the Mavericks team will need to perform as well. Most of the team is from the group that made it to the NBA Finals last season, and they may have to tap into that mentality to get this win against a Grizzlies team that has been good all season.
