It looks like Dallas Mavericks stars Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic are developing that much-needed chemistry Mavs fans have been waiting for. In fact, they seem to be communicating better now.

According to Porzingis after Friday's practice, he and Luka are not only talking more on the court, but they are also doing it in Spanish so others won't be able to comprehend what they are discussing.

“That's for everybody else on the court to not understand what we're saying,” Porzingis said on talking Spanish with Doncic on the court, per Callie Caplan of the Dallas Morning News.

Too much about the two hating each other, huh?

It's certainly a big step for the Mavs to see Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic developing that partnership that will take the team to the next level. A lot has been said about their apparent lack of relationship, with KP reportedly growing frustrated with his role alongside the Slovenian for the past couple of seasons.

Now, it seems that two stars are in better terms and ready to form that Dynamic Duo the Mavs envisioned when they traded for Porzingis in 2019.

Under new head coach Jason Kidd, the Mavs are certainly taking another direction with Porzingis and Doncic still leading the way. It remains to be seen if it is what Dallas really needs to get over that first-round playoffs hump. Regardless, fans got to love the progress the team is making heading to the 2021-22 campaign.
