Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic had a monster outing in their thrilling 125-124 victory over the Washington Wizards on Saturday night.

Doncic finished with 31 points, 12 rebounds and a career-high 20 assists. With that, the Mavs star became just the fourth player in NBA history to notch a 30-point, 10-rebound, 20-assist night, joining Los Angeles Lakers legend Magic Johnson, Milwaukee Bucks all-time great Oscar Robertson and Washington Wizards star Russell Westbrook.

Another day, another mind-boggling accomplishment for the Slovenian sensation. It seems like these milestones have been the norm for the third-year star Mavs point guard.

Luka Doncic definitely needed every bit of his points and assists on Saturday night, as they just squeaked by the surging Wizards. The two-time All-Star also made the game-winning play by finding an open Dorian Finney-Smith for the corner triple with 9.2 seconds remaining. Lady Luck smiled towards the Mavs' way on Washington's attempt to steal the game, as Bradley Beal missed a clean look from deep.

With the win, Dallas moved into the fifth seed in the West playoff picture. While they hold a similar 36-27 mark with the Los Angeles Lakers, they own the tie-breaker over the defending champs which gives them the edge in the standings for now.

Of course, the job isn't done for the Mavs if they want to maintain that standing the rest of the way. They need to take care of business in their final nine regular season games, as well as hope the Lakers don't find their rhythm with LeBron James and Anthony Davis just coming back from their respective injuries.

If there's anyone who can lead this Mavericks squad, it's Luka Doncic.
