Dallas Mavericks sophomore sensation Luka Doncic achieved another individual milestone with the Mavs on Friday night, passing Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant for most 30-point games before turning 21.

The 20-year-old Slovenian reached the feat in the Mavs' 122-106 win against the Orlando Magic at Amway Center.

Luka Doncic recorded the 29th 30-point game of his career, tallying a near triple-double of 33 points, 10 boards, and eight dimes. He also did well on the defensive end by collecting one steal and one block.

The one-time All-Star punished the home team by draining 10 of his 21 field goal attempts (47.6 percent) and going 4-for-8 from three (50 percent).

Doncic is just scratching the surface of his unbelievable talent, and fans can expect more scoring outbursts from him in the future. He already equaled his career-high last November, dropping 42 markers to go along with 11 rebounds and 12 assists against the San Antonio Spurs last year.

After winning Rookie of The Year last season, the 6-foot-7 guard has already catapulted himself to the upper echelon of today's biggest stars. He is one of the frontrunners for the MVP award this season alongside the league's perennial contenders James Harden of the Houston Rockets, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, and reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Doncic is tallying 28.9 points, 9.5 rebounds, 8.7 assists and 1.0 steal in 44 games this season.

With him leading the charge, the Mavs are expected to return to the postseason come April. Dallas has won back-to-back games and is currently sixth in the Western Conference with a 34-22 win-loss slate.

Dallas still has plenty of games left in the regular season, and Doncic will likely break more records before the 2019-20 campaign wraps up.
