Dallas Mavericks point-forward Luka Doncic thinks the Mavs have a “great chance” of making a big move in free agency this summer.
The Mavs have been linked to All-Stars Kemba Walker and Al Horford, although more names could be added to that list once free agency starts on June 30.
Doncic feels Dallas is one All-Star player away from being a force next season, especially since power forward Kristaps Porzingis will be back in 2019-20.
Luka Doncic thinks the Mavericks have a "great chance" of making a big move in free agency. Says he and Kristaps are still young, they just need some help to get to the playoffs and hope to bring in someone to help them do that.

Doncic put on a show during his rookie season. He averaged 21.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.0 assists while shooting 42.7 percent from the field, 32.7 percent from beyond the arc and 71.3 percent from the free-throw line. The Mavs budding star recorded 24 double-doubles, eight triple-doubles and led all rookies in points per game.
The last time we saw Porzingis on the basketball court, he was putting up 22.7 points and 6.6 rebounds with the New York Knicks. The Mavs envision Doncic and Porzingis being a lethal pick-and-roll duo for years to come. Dallas has had cap space the last few offseasons, but they've never been able to land a big fish. We'll see if that changes this summer.
The Dirk Nowitzki era is over in Dallas, which means the Mavs are handing over the keys to Doncic and Porzingis.
