The Dallas Mavericks, who are tied one game apiece with the Utah Jazz have not yet been bothered by the absence of Luka Doncic. Still, the Mavs would like to have their superstar healthy as they look to win their first NBA playoffs series since 2011.

Doncic has dealt with a left calf strain that has kept him sidelined through the first two games against the Jazz. Soon, though, the Mavs will get their All-Star back. He told reporters that he is “feeling great” after a workout session.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Doncic will likely not return to action for tonight's Game 3 even though he is aching to return. Mavs head coach Jason Kidd made it sound like Doncic could still be a game-time decision, though Dallas will likely elect to play it safe. Since the series is even heading into the third game, they can afford to do so.

Jalen Brunson's electrifying scoring has kept the Mavs going against Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz. Utah is one of the better home teams, so Brunson and Spencer Dinwiddie will have to keep propelling the offense and the shooters around them have to keep making shots.

Dallas has not let the Luka Doncic injury slow them down yet. Although they will be challenged in Utah, they could return home with their superstar ready to go.
