Apart from being one of the best players in the league right now, Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic might just be the most modest one.

While most players would have a field day tooting their own horn after being called unstoppable, the playmaker from Slovenia simply laughed off the flattering compliment.

In the aftermath of Dallas' 99-86 road win against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Friday, Doncic was applauded by commentators in the post-game interview following yet another herculean performance.

“Today I didn't really play great. But we got the win, and that's all that matters,” Doncic said.

If there's anyone more deserving of patting his own back right now, it's Luka Doncic. Unstoppable is truly a fitting word to describe the 22-year-old boy wonder after once again putting the Mavs on his shoulders.

Doncic did it all versus the Knicks, finishing with 26 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and one steal in 35 minutes while making 11 of his 23 field goals including three triples.

Those numbers scream great to me but it looks like Doncic does hold himself to a higher standard.

The Knicks are considered as one of the best defensive units in the league right now with Tom Thibodeau in charge. But Doncic might have somewhat missed that memo, completely dissecting the New York's D throughout the contest.

As far as the Mavs superstar is concerned, he still has more work to do to be even considered in the unstoppable category.
