Dallas Mavericks fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Though the Mavs are indeed going through a COVID-19 scare at the moment, it doesn't appear to involve superstar Luka Doncic.
It was first reported by The Athletic's Sham Charania that the Mavericks had one player that'd tested positive for COVID-19, while two additional players were being required to quarantine due to contact tracing:
Sources: Prior to flight from Denver to Dallas today, the Mavericks learned of a positive coronavirus test for a player and two additional players who are expected to quarantine for seven days due to contact tracing. The three players remained in Denver.

The learning of the positive test happened prior to the Mavs' flight back home after facing the Denver Nuggets. As it turns out, Doncic was on the plane going back to Dallas, which should clear him from being one of the suggested players in quarantine.
The 21-year old Slovenia native and Mavs phenom took to his Instagram and uploaded a picture from inside the team's plane:

Losing Doncic for even a quarantine period would've been a massive blow to the Mavs' prospects. They're still waiting on Kristaps Porzingis to return from his knee surgery, and head coach Rick Carlisle suggested that the Unicorn could be back any day now.
Carlisle would surely appreciate having both his stars on the floor together as they look to build off the chemistry that was set in place last season. Even without Porzingis, Doncic has been able to carry the Mavs to a 4-4 record through their first eight games. While their record isn't a figure to marvel at, Doncic has been doing his part while putting up some MVP-like numbers so far.
Doncic is averaging 27.6 points, nine rebounds and eight assists on 33.9 MPG for the Mavs.
