Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has taken the league by storm and has his owner Mark Cuban in awe day after day, as he praised the young star on an episode of ESPN's “Greeny” with Mike Greenberg.

Doncic has quickly become the face of the Mavs franchise and has catapulted right into the mix for NBA MVP at the age of just 21 years old. Cuban also stated that Doncic is “such a good kid and such a good guy.”

“He is such a good kid. He is such a good guy,” Cuban said to Greenberg, via The Smoking Cuban. “There are a lot of guys that come into the league with talent and the ability to play and there are guys that say they want to be the best, but the guys who become the best are the ones that set goals for themselves and do whatever it takes to achieve those goals. That’s Luka on the court.”

“And off the court, the kid’s got a heart of gold. There is nothing he won’t do for others. There is not a kid he won’t stop for. There’s not a hospital he won’t visit. There’s not an autograph he won’t sign, and that is just the specialness that comes with greatness. A lot of people talk it, but he walks it. That’s just who Luka Doncic is.”

He raved about Doncic not just on the court but off the court as well and continued to praise the franchise cornerstone in Dallas, who has high hopes as he continues to improve each day.

Doncic averaged an incredible 28.8 points per game with 9.4 rebounds and 8.8 assists last year in only his second pro season and brought the Mavs within striking distance of the Los Angeles Clippers in the playoffs.

He will only get better and better, and Cuban said his ability to improve his game is eerily similar to that of Mavericks great and NBA champion Dirk Nowitzki.

Luka was taken third overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Atlanta Hawks and was then traded to the Mavs in exchange for Oklahoma Sooners star Trae Young in a rare draft night swap that has worked out well for both sides.

For Doncic, his goal and the goal of Cuban is to bring another NBA title to the city of Dallas, and the fact that he continues to get better at such a young age is a scary sight for the rest of the NBA.
