Jamal Murray thought he was fouled by Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert on a drive to the basket with 26 seconds left in regulation and the Denver Nuggets down four in Game 4 of their first-round NBA playoffs series.

The refs, though, didn't call the foul and the Jazz won the game 129-127.

It won't make Murray feel much better since the Nuggets are down 3-1, but the NBA's Last Two Minute Report confirmed on Monday that Gobert fouled Murray, per Mike Singer of the Denver Post.

Murray played terrific in Game 4. He finished with 50 points on 18-of-31 shooting from the field. He could have ended up with 52 if the NBA referees had called the foul on Rudy Gobert.

The Nuggets' season is on the line on Tuesday in Game 5. Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap have to play their best games of the season in order for Denver to stave off elimination and force a Game 6.

This NBA playoffs series could have gone differently if Nuggets guard Gary Harris was healthy, but injuries are part of sports at the end of the day.

Murray and the Nuggets got to the second round of the playoffs in 2019. They lost to the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 7 on their home floor. With that said, it would be disappointing if Denver gets bounced in the first round this 2020 after having another stellar regular season.
