Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was simply unstoppable on Tuesday, as he almost single-handedly defeated the undermanned Brooklyn Nets by scoring a career-high 41 points in a 112-104 victory.

Apart from that, Jokic also had 12 rebounds, five assists, two steals, two blocks, and went 4-of-9 from the three-point area. Jokic’s memorable night made plenty who witnessed the game ask whether there’s anything the Serbian big man can’t do on the basketball court.

Nuggets head coach Mike Malone was inquired about by reporters following the game, and showing a deep familiarity with his star player, still managed to find a scuff in Jokic’s armor.

“He can't jump very high,” said Malone to the laughter of reporters. “That's the one thing he cannot do, but he is ultra-skilled, obviously. The way he's been shooting the ball this year from three-point range has been magnificent.”

Well, Jokic might not have a great bounce but we now know that he could outscore an opponent’s starting lineup. The Nets’ starting five only had 40 total points Tuesday.

Of course, Malone was just playing with the reporters. Coaches would die to have Jokic on their team, and Malone obviously feels lucky that he’s got the unicorn at his disposal.
