The triple-double is one of the most impressive feats to achieve in the NBA. Most players go their entire career without ever getting one, as it requires extreme versatility. Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets is one of these versatile players that might be seven feet tall, but still has the passing ability of a seasoned point guard.

On Monday night, Jokic got his 18th triple-double of his young career, moving past one of the greatest players of all time to take second place among centers on the triple-double list.

While Jokic has passed Abdul-Jabbar, he's got a long way to go to top the list. However, seeing as Jokic is only 23 years old, the talented Serbian player has a shot at becoming number one eventually.

Jokic's most recent triple-double came with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 15 assists in a winning effort against the Toronto Raptors. The big man was key in securing the victory against the current best team in the Eastern Conference, hitting three clutch free-throws to break a 103-103 deadlock and propel his team to first place in the Western Conference.

Jokic's excellent game pushed his season averages to 16.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 9.6 rebounds to go along with 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocks per game. If he can push his rebounding numbers a little higher, Jokic could become the third player to average a triple-double, joining Oscar Robertson and Russell Westbrook.

There's no question that Jokic has become one of the most talented and entertaining players in the league. Denver will rely on him heavily if the team wishes to make a deep run come playoff time.
