The Denver Nuggets are one of the better teams out west despite not having two of their key playmakers in Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. Led by MVP candidate Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets are currently sixth in the Western Conference- and very much in contention. What's not to like? Apparently, a lot. The Nuggets are sadly on pace for a record not seen in 15 years, per Reddit and Harrison Wind via Twitter.
This is stunning. The Nuggets’ 0.19 local TV rating is the lowest in the league and on pace to be the lowest NBA local rating in at least the last 15 years, per @sbjsbd. The glory years of Nuggets basketball led by the best player in franchise history continue to go unwatched. pic.twitter.com/ioOosodDhE

Per Wind, the Nuggets are currently on pace to have the lowest NBA local rating in 15 years. Denver's 0.19 local television rating is the lowest in the NBA. Not even the magic of Nikola Jokic is enough to make local fans want to watch the Nuggets.

And that's really disappointing. Jokic makes some of the most amazing, improvisational passes that the league has ever seen from a big man. He can dribble, shoot the three ball and even defend a little. The fact that the Nuggets are even in contention is a testament to his greatness.
And yet, nobody wants to watch him or the Nuggets. Perhaps, it's because Jokic doesn't get quite the media coverage of other stars. Even Nuggets head coach Mike Malone has noticed, saying that the Serbian big man is “disrespected” in the MVP conversation.
Whatever it is, local fans in Denver need to wake up. They're missing one of the most exciting players in the NBA on a nightly basis.
