While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic talked about his new physique.
Pictures showed that Jokic lost a lot of weight during the NBA hiatus. However, the Nuggets star says he only lost three to five pounds.
Nuggets center Nikola Jokic: "I didn't lose that much pounds during quarantine. I'm pretty much the same weight as the last game of the season." He said he lost anywhere between 3-5 pounds.

Jokic arrived at Disney World on Saturday and cleared his quarantine on Tuesday. The Nuggets expect him to participate in practices soon once he gets some other tests done.
Before the 2019-20 season was suspended in March following Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert's positive COVID-19 test, Jokic was averaging 20.2 points, 10.2 rebounds and 6.9 assists for the Nuggets. The two-time All-Star, who is one of the best players in the NBA, was also shooting 52.8 percent from the field, 31.4 percent from beyond the arc and 81.3 percent from the free-throw line.
Prior to the start of the 2020 playoffs, the Nuggets will face the Miami Heat, Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs, Portland Trail Blazers, Utah Jazz, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors in their eight seeding games. It will be a good opportunity for Denver players to get back in game shape and knock off the rust after not playing since March.
In the 2019 playoffs, the Nuggets defeated the Spurs in the first round but lost to the Blazers in the second round in seven games. Once the 2020 playoffs start, Denver will ultimately need Jokic, Jamal Murray, Paul Millsap and Gary Harris to play well for the team to win the championship.
