This was expected, as Nikola Jokic wasn't going to miss a playoff game. He's a fierce competitor who is going to do whatever it takes to help the Nuggets win.
Denver and Los Angeles are tied at 1-1 in the second round. The Clippers easily won Game 1 in blowout fashion. However, the Nuggets rebounded nicely in Game 2 behind dominant performances from Jokic and Jamal Murray.
Now, the Nuggets will look to take a 2-1 lead over Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers. Having Jokic in the lineup helps, as he's one of the best players in the NBA.
Through the first two games of the Clippers series, Jokic is averaging 20.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting 51.6 percent from the field and 57.1 percent from beyond the arc.
