Denver Nuggets big man Paul Millsap is feared to have suffered a broken toe in his right foot against the Charlotte Hornets Friday, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Nuggets lost to the Hornets on Friday. Denver head coach Michael Malone told reporters postgame that Paul Millsap “had a cut on his foot.”
Malone doesn’t have an update on Millsap's availability going forward.

Malone said that Paul Millsap “had a cut on his foot” but doesn’t have an update on his availability. He will get some images taken (not sure if that means MRI or X-Ray).
Monte Morris had to get a cut glued shut before coming back in after taking an elbow from Lyles.

This would be a huge loss for the Nuggets. Paul Millsap entered Friday averaging 13.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. The four-time All-Star was shooting 49.6 percent from the field, 40.7 percent from beyond the arc and 71.1 percent from the free-throw line.
The injury bug just won't leave Paul Millsap alone. The veteran big man only played in 38 games last season after undergoing surgery on his left wrist in November. He missed almost five months as a result of the wrist surgery.
Paul Millsap signed a three-year, $90 million free agent deal with the Nuggets in the summer of 2017 after spending the previous four seasons with the Atlanta Hawks. With the loss to the Hornets, the Nuggets dropped to 17-8.
The health of Paul Millsap is much more pressing, though. Him and Denver star center Nikola Jokic form a dynamic duo in the Nuggets' frontcourt. Denver's offense is also better with Millsap on the floor. They have an offensive rating of 118.4 when Millsap plays.
We will likely have more information on Saturday once Millsap gets images on his foot done.
