The Denver Nuggets completed an improbable comeback from 3-1 down in the series on Tuesday, when they defeated the Utah Jazz in Game 7 of this first-round series. After the game, Nuggets head coach Michael Malone was on the receiving end of the customary water bath courtesy of Denver guard Jamal Murray.

Here's a look at the endearing moment between coach and player:

Well, that may not have been exactly what you were expecting when we said water bath, but you get the point. I guess it's the thought that counts.

It's hilarious how Murray was captured patiently waiting in the background to make his move. You can even see the 6-foot-4 guard wiping the top off his water bottle, presumably to remove any traces of his saliva on there. Safety first, of course.

Murray actually struggled from the field all night long against the Jazz, going 7-of-21 from the floor for 17 points (1-of-6 from distance), with two rebounds, four assists, and a steal in 41 minutes of play. It was a far cry from his 50-point outing in Game 6, but nonetheless, the Nuggets got the job done.

It was Denver big man Nikola Jokic who stepped it up tonight, with the Serbian finishing with 30 points on 12-of-23 shooting, to go with 14 boards, and four assists.

Denver has now set up a second-round matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers in the Western Conference Semifinals. Game 1 of what should be another epic series is slated for Thursday in a contest between the second and third seeds in the West.
