Nikola Jokic has a peculiar game for a traditional NBA big man. Unlike most centers, Jokic is an adept passer and he runs the offense for the Denver Nuggets. His crisp passes and timely assists are what fuels the Nuggets offense.

This season, Jokic is averaging 16.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 5.7 assists in 31 minutes per game. In his last two games, Jokic recorded a triple-double, notching 26 total assists in both affairs. It appears that Jokic isn't yet done putting on a passing clinic.

Against the Milwaukee Bucks, Jokic made an insane no-look behind the back pass to his teammate Juan Hernangomez, who didn't skip a beat and he perfectly scored on the assist.

The Nuggets are currently seventh place in the Western Conference. Even though they clearly lack the star power of most of the Western Conference's elite, they have been an overall tough team to handle.

Jokic, who is the franchise superstar, carries the Nuggets in an unusual way. While he can score at will, he prefers to set up his teammates who are all capable contributors for the Nuggets. In fact, the Nuggets are an ideal team, relying on the sum of its parts to grind out victories. Still, Jokic deserves much of the credit for the Nuggets' recent success.

Jokic is currently making roughly $1 million for the Nuggets this season. With the way he has been performing lately, Jokic is bound to receive a max contract from the Nuggets soon when he becomes a free agent. However, Jokic is more focused on leading the Nuggets to their first postseason appearance since 2013.
