Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores doesn't think All-Star power forward Blake Griffin will ask for a trade this summer.

The Pistons got swept by the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs. There were a lot of times during the regular season where Griffin looked frustrated with his teammates, particularly point guard Reggie Jackson.

Gores, however, believes Griffin is committed to winning with the Pistons:

“No, I don’t see that at all,” Gores said, via Rod Beard of the Detroit News. “Blake and I know each other pretty well. Even though he had the sore knee, the man just wanted to play. He believes in this team and believes in this city. I haven’t sense that at all. He has been a trooper, everything for us as a leader. He knows we’re committed to winning.”

Griffin had a stellar regular season for the Pistons. The six-time All-Star averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game while shooting 46.2 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from beyond the arc and 75.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Griffin recorded 21 double-doubles and two triple-doubles. The Pistons were 39-36 with Griffin in the lineup.

It's unfortunate Griffin had to deal with a left knee injury near the end of the season. The high-flyer missed Games 1 and 2 of the Bucks series, but played in Games 3 and 4 despite not being even close to 100 percent. The Pistons fans gave Griffin a standing ovation in Game 4 as he exited because they appreciated the effort he gave on basically one leg.
