If you think the Golden State Warriors were already absurd, what if they added both Kawhi Leonard and Anthony Davis to the roster?

Wait. Hold on. Don't close this tab yet. The 500-word piece on why Old Forge (PA) pizza is actually better than New York pizza can wait a minute.

Anyway, with news coming out on Friday that Kawhi Leonard wanted the heck out of dodge, coupled with the idea that Anthony Davis will eventually want out of New Orleans, ClutchPoints' own Andrew Kennedy decided to tinker with the ESPN trade machine to see if the Warriors would get even more silly next season.

And, well, here are the results:

Obviously, Golden State would have to give up some key assets, but those aren't Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant or even Draymond Green. Instead, by way of this fancy-pants technology, Steve Kerr would lose the forever underrated Klay Thompson and an aging Andre Iguodala. Outside of that, a few other good, yet still ancillary pieces would need to be moved.

For the Spurs, it makes them a lot older a lot quicker and I'm not too sure if they're better in the slightest (probably worse). For the Pelicans, it is actually a pretty cool deal, as they would be getting two All-Star level players, even if one is on the decline.

Nevertheless, just a silly idea to think about. The ESPN Trade Machine, while great, is the downfall of many a great human.
