The Golden State Warriors lost Game 1 of the NBA Finals for the first time in this era, but star point guard Stephen Curry isn't worried about it. Curry emphasized that “it's not the end of the world,” and he expects the Warriors to use their resiliency and championship mettle to fight back:
“New experiences for us all the way through, but we've proven our resiliency and ability to win games that we need to and kind of answer the bell and learn from nights like tonight.”

Curry noted several of the areas the Warriors need to improve, including cleaning up turnovers and playing more physical and alert. The two-time MVP also gave a shoutout to Pascal Siakam, who “found a bucket wherever he was at” and poured in 32 points on 14-of-17 shooting in his first-ever Finals game.
Curry is correct about the Warriors' resiliency, and it would be foolish to count them out, even with Kevin Durant possibly not returning until Game 4. Many thought Golden State was toast after Durant initially got hurt, and the champs promptly dispatched the Houston Rockets and then swept away the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Warriors will have to dig deep, though, as the Raptors are riding high with confidence thanks to their five-game winning streak. Toronto's defense is tough to crack, so Golden State will have to make some adjustments and just perform better in general. The Warriors' own defense will also have to step up and figure out a way to slow down Siakam while making sure Kawhi Leonard doesn't go off.
