The Golden State Warriors rolled past the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 on Sunday night to grab firm control of the NBA Finals with a 2-0 series lead.
However, the Warriors have remained even-keeled through the entire situation given the quality of opponent in front of them. Following Game 2, Stephen Curry offered much praise toward the Cavaliers' top two stars ahead of the series shifting to the Quicken Loans Arena for Games 3 and 4.
‘They are a very talented team. They have two top-class players in this league. You got to expect them to shoot better just naturally being at home, so we have to do the little things (such as) not turn the ball and continue to keep them off the glass.”

Golden State may have command of the series, but the Cavaliers possess a talented roster headed by LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. James has been extremely reliable, averaging a triple-double with 28.5 points, 13.0 rebounds, and 11.o assists per game and is coming off his first triple-double of the series. Meanwhile, Irving has filled up the scoring column averaging 21.5 points per game despite only shooting 40 percent from the field.
Although Curry didn't single him out, but Kevin Love has also proven to be a factor both on the glass and scoring department averaging 21.0 points and 14.0 rebounds through the first two games of the NBA Finals.
All of these only make it clearer that the Cavaliers possess the offensive weapons to get it done, which only makes more crucial for the Warriors to keep their foot on the gas against the defending champions.
