Draymond Green didn't get off to the best start in this 2019-20 season, forced to exit within the first few minutes of the first quarter with an elbow injury, only to return later on. The Golden State Warriors didn't seem overly concerned with the injury, allowing him to return against the Los Angeles Clippers, but the former Defensive Player of the Year noted his right elbow was still “really sore.”
Green was seen wearing a compression arm sleeve and a pad underneath it, covering the upper part of his right forearm:

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr called it “nerve issue,” an injury his training staff felt comfortable enough letting him play through. With the game out of hand by the third quarter, Green rested the remainder of the way, allowing for rookie Eric Paschall to get some time in a 141-122 blowout loss.

The contact that occurred with Green didn't seem of a violent nature, but the forward was in clear pain and quickly made his way to the bench to attend to it.
If he's forced to miss any time with this elbow issue, the Warriors' already disastrous defense could only nosedive from here, removing the lone All-Defense-caliber player in the rotation.
