This offseason, the Golden State Warriors were successful in keeping their core intact, as well as adding a few key pieces to their already formidable lineup. While Nick Young and Omri Casspi are the biggest names who agreed to join them, rookie Jordan Bell may have brought in the biggest intrigue.

The Warriors’ coaching staff and players, including Draymond Green, think highly of Bell and believes that he truly belongs in the NBA. Jordan Bell was the 38th overall pick in last June’s draft, following his three-year stint at Oregon. Standing at 6-foot-9, he has the ability to play both forward positions, but his stock was boosted by his versatility on defense and boundless energy. Although he still needs some fine-tuning, Bell's potential as an elite defender makes for a salivating prospect.

With some of the best forwards in the league today as his teammates, Bell could definitely learn a lot from Draymond Green and Kevin Durant. If he can further develop his skill set, not only will it be possible for him to receive more playing time, but he could also earn the trust of Steve Kerr to make him a part of the Warriors’ future plans.
