As expected, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was met with a not-so-warm welcome by home fans of the Boston Celtics in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. The former Defensive Player of the Year was on the receiving end of a barrage of NSFW chants throughout the contest which would have had a significant impact on any other player. This wasn't the case for Dray, though.

After their 116-100 loss in Game 3, Green played down the antics of the raucous Celtics crowd. According to the Warriors star, he's had worse. In particular, Green remembers Cleveland Cavaliers supporters all too well:

“I really don’t pay attention to what they say,” Green said, via Marc J. Spears of Andscape. “But the loudness of it … I haven’t heard it louder than in Cleveland. …

“Cleveland was way louder and [the fans] also say something. Cleveland people are more reckless and ruthless.”

Green and the Warriors battled LeBron James and his Cavs in the NBA Finals for four straight years, between 2015 and 2018. The Dubs came into the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on more than a few occasions and clearly, the fans made quite an impression on him.

Green's latest comments are sure to rile up Celtics fans even more. However, the Warriors talisman is adamant that there is nothing they can do to get into his head:

“They are not wasting their time with anybody. And I will feed off of them Friday,” Green said.
