Draymond Green was ejected for the first time in the state-of-the-art Chase Center after picking up a fourth-quarter blocking foul against Mike Conley of the Utah Jazz. The forward tried to pickpocket the 6-foot-1 guard, only to get in the way of his drive and get called with the obstruction.

Needless to say the Golden State Warriors defensive ace was not happy, as his team tried to mount a comeback after trailing for the entire second half.

“I disagreed with that call. And I'm never going to be OK with another grown man telling me ‘don't talk'. If you feel like you got the call wrong, or right, you don't tell me not to talk,” said Green after a 122-108 loss to the Jazz, according to ESPN's Nick Friedell. “I'm a grown man. I got my own kids. So that's what happened.”

Green has had his share of history with referee Sean Wright, so it comes as no surprise that when he was assessed his first technical foul for yelling “how?” — Wright was quick to fire the second tech and prompt his consequent ejection.

Head coach Steve Kerr also disagreed with the call, arguing Conley ran into Green, who was in position to take the charge. Though he argued that prolonging the argument wasn't helping matters.

“I thought it was a charge that was called a block,” said Kerr. “I don’t know what he said. But we need him. One tech is fine. But we can’t have two.”

Green was coming off missing five games with a torn ligament in his left index finger. Despite playing with no minutes restriction, he logged only 22 minutes in the loss to the Jazz.
