Draymond Green has been out of the Golden State Warriors' lineup for the past 12 games. The Warriors haven't played the same kind of basketball since his injury, but they've gone 8-2 in their past ten games. Despite their 8-2 record, there are strong signs that the Warriors aren't the same team when he's not on the floor.

When Draymond Green isn't on the floor, one of the major problems the Warriors have is that Stephen Curry doesn't shoot the ball as well as he does when he is. Curry has struggled for the larger part of the last month and a half of the season, but when Draymond Green was on the court, Curry was generally hitting his shots at the exceptional level that he usually does. And in the last month and a half, when Draymond has been out for the Warriors, Steph hasn't been shooting like he usually does.

Fortunately, the Warriors' PR staff provided an injury update on Draymond Green, which will excite Golden State fans.

This is significant news for the Warriors, who have nonetheless managed to win games without him. Getting Draymond Green back can only help this team continue to play like one of the best in the league, as they did before his injury.

From the Warriors' perspective, it would make the most sense to keep him out until after the All-Star break, so he can continue to recover and they won't have any worries with him returning 100% healthy.
