The Golden State Warriors are off to an NBA-best 11-2 start, but there has been no shortage of doubters. People are claiming they've had an easy schedule so far but Klay Thompson is welcoming the hate. In fact, he loves it.

The Dubs sharpshooter, who is nearing a return to the court after almost two years removed from his last appearance, recently spoke on the haters who are claiming the Warriors aren't for real. Via Sports Illustrated:

“I love it,” Thompson said. “I love it. I hope people keep doubting us. I saw somebody on the TV the other day talking about, The Warriors aren’t contenders because they’ve had a soft schedule. Buddy, we got the MVP, a defensive player of the year. That kind of disrespect bothers me. We have so many champions, guys who have done it in the highest pressure moments, and you’re still gonna question our ability? I love it. But whatever. That’s what talking heads are paid to do.”

Indeed, Thompson has a point. Steph Curry is coming off a scoring title, Draymond Green is still one of the best defenders in the league, and Klay himself has three rings and five All-Star appearances to his name. The Warriors have other pieces who are really making their mark as well in the likes of Jordan Poole, Gary Payton II, and Damion Lee.

While there is a case to be made that Golden State hasn't faced the toughest teams, they've also beaten the Lakers, Clippers, Hawks, and Bulls. The experience on this roster paired with young talent is unmatched and the Warriors are showing tremendous ability on both ends of the floor, ranking 2nd in offensive rating and 1st in defensive rating.

Once Klay is back, it's going to be scary hours in the Bay Area. Don't count out the Dubs as a title contender.
