The NBA was set alight when Golden State Warriors forwards Kevin Durant and Draymond Green publicly exchanged heated words on Monday night midgame against the Los Angeles Clippers. The fight led to a one-game suspension for Green for detrimental conduct to the team, and the fiery forward sat out the team's victory against the Atlanta Hawks Tuesday night.

However, it seems like the drama might blow over, as Warriors guard, Quinn Cook asserted that the team will band together after the minor altercation.

The Warriors are a high-class organization, and one that is coming off four straight Finals appearances, three of which they won. Durant has been with the team for two of those championships, so Cook's comments make sense. For a team to mesh this well and have this level of success, they must be a tight-knit squad.

Stephen Curry has also chipped in on the drama, assuring the public that everything is going fine with the team behind closed doors.

Even without Green or an injured Curry, the Warriors were able to manufacture a win Tuesday night behind 29 points from Kevin Durant and a strong showing from the supporting cast, including Cook himself.

The former Duke guard started for Curry and scored 18 points in 34 minutes, as well as dropping six assists and collecting four boards.

While they got a win Tuesday, the team will need to come together again if they hope to win yet another championship in June.

According to Cook, it seems like they are in a great position to do so.
