Not too long ago, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green said that he intends to watch LeBron James in person when the Los Angeles Lakers superstar breaks the all-time scoring record next season. Apparently, Stephen Curry isn't buying it.
Curry recently guested on The Draymond Green Show and he took the opportunity to call out his Warriors teammate about his earlier statement. According to Steph, he just doesn't believe Green would actually live up to his word:
“If that situation happened next year, there’s no way in hell you would’ve walked to me, Klay [Thompson], Andre [Iguodala], Coach Kerr and be like, ‘Yo, I’m doing this,”’ Curry said (h/t Jonathan Sherman of Lakers Daily). “That’s why I didn’t hit you about it. I knew it was a way of expressing how amazing that accomplishment and feat was and your respect for Bron.”

That's a fair assessment from Curry. Kudos to Steph for actually telling Green to his face. Curry knows his Warriors teammate well and he is adamant that Green was just exaggerating when he said that he would miss a Dubs game just to watch LeBron play. The pair were laughing throughout the exchange so it was clearly all in good fun.
