Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter to ever live and certainly up there as one of the best players to step on a basketball court. Yet, he still has his fair share of haters. Dubs GM Bob Myers meanwhile is sick and tired of hearing the doubters try to bash Steph, who has already solidified his legacy in more ways than one.
“It's so sad we have to defend him. … He's a made man. Forget about this Final – it's already been done. He's already done it. He's already proven it. I don't know what he has to continue to prove,” Myers said Tuesday on “The Morning Roast.”
The Warriors guard might not have a Finals MVP to his name, but he's just one of three players to average 25 points, five rebounds, and five assists while shooting 55% from the field in the NBA Finals. The other two? Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

In Myers' eyes, he wants to see people just accept that Curry is in that conversation rather than act surprised he is putting up similar numbers:
“That stat … it's tremendous, but why is that eye-opening?” Myers said. “Why can't that just be, ‘Oh yeah, he is as good as those guys.' It's almost like, ‘Oh my gosh, I didn't know Steph averaged those kind of numbers.' … This is his sixth Finals in eight years. Have we not watched him? Have we not watched him over the regular season?
Curry is well on his way to a Finals MVP so far for the Warriors. He's dropped 34 points and 29 points, respectively, through the first two games of the series. If he does finally capture the honor, it'll be hard for anyone to question Stephen Curry's legacy ever again, especially if he also wins a fourth NBA title.
