SAN FRANCISCO – NBA fans aren't the only ones who frequently visit YouTube to watch their favorite player's highlights. Ahead of Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson say that's something even they do.

The Warriors practiced in Boston for the first time on Tuesday, and Wednesday will mark the first time the San Francisco Warriors play an NBA Finals Game in Boston since 1964.

Stephen Curry's running mate, Klay Thompson has struggled shooting through Games 1 and 2 of the Finals. Through two games, Thompson has shot just 10-of-33 from the field for 26 points, including just 4-of-15 from three. When asked about what he uses to draw inspiration to get out of shooting slumps, Klay Thompson admitted he jumps on YouTube to help him out with that.

“That's the beauty of playing in today's age,” Thompson said before Game 3 of Warriors-Celtics. “You can go on YouTube and look up all your great moments.

“For me, it's as recently as round two against the Nuggets, or last round against the Mavs. I haven't had a multiple three-point game throughout the series, but I stuck to the process, eventually I blew the lid off. It's about keeping that same mindset of shooters shoot. I'd rather go down swinging than being gun shy.”

That prompted reporters to ask Stephen Curry the same thing. Here's what he had to say.

“That's a great question,” Stephen Curry said as he contemplated his response. “[I] go back and watch Ray Allen clips, obviously Reggie [Miller], Seth Curry. Who else I watch? That's the top of the list. Might throw some old Virginia Tech Dell Curry highlights in without the three-point line.

“Other than that, you're kind of just watching a lot of just film of other games. It's not so much a YouTube thing, it's more being an NBA fan and just watching — it's like when you're at church, the pastor is giving a sermon and you're over there with your phone.

“Just more so being an NBA fan, consuming as much basketball as possible, you start to get motivated and inspired by all different type of people.”

Funny enough, Warriors forward Draymond Green said he hasn't seen Klay Thompson watching his own YouTube footage.

“I haven't seen him YouTubing it,” Draymond Green explained with a laugh. “The reality is if I did, we'd probably make fun of him. So it's probably good that I haven't.

“But I think for us, you tend to go back to those experiences. You tend to draw from that because ultimately when you think about things like from our perspective, especially a shooter like Klay, you always hear the term, oh, get to the free-throw line or get a layup, because you just need to see the ball go through the rim.

“It's not always that simple in the game. So if you can go back to that and just a reminder, like, I know I can do that. I know what I'm capable of. I know I can go back, I can feel that and it gets you to feeling good about yourself. I think that's a very big deal. I think that's an underrated thing. It's the power of the mind.”

Klay Thompson believes he'll get back to form sooner rather than later, and watching the videos is simply his way of helping to ‘keep the mental strong.'

The Warriors will take on the Celtics in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night at 6PM PST/9PM EST.
