The Golden State Warriors have raced out to a 2-0 lead in their first-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets. Golden State secured both of its home victories over the Nuggets by double-digit margins, which is scary enough for Denver fans in its own right. Perhaps even more frightening is the fact that the Warriors have accomplished this feat with Stephen Curry still being eased into the action following his Game 1 return from a left foot injury that sidelined him for an entire month.

Head coach Steve Kerr limited Curry's workload in the first two games of the series and brought him off the bench. On Thursday, Kerr spoke to reporters and revealed a major Curry adjustment the Warriors have in the works, as reported by Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

Per Slater, Kerr said that Curry will have an “elevated” minutes total in Game 3 against the Nuggets. The Warriors head coach cited how the star sharpshooter came out of the first two games feeling well and had Tuesday and Wednesday to let his body recover from the contests.

The Warriors star played 22 and 23 minutes in Games 1 and 2, respectively, though Dubs fans were treated to vintage Curry in the series' second contest, as the 33-year-old dropped 34 points and five triples off the bench.

While he may not crack the starting five just yet, Curry will surely see his minutes total increase from here on out. That means that the Warriors will be a fully operational Death Star — or Death Lineup — for the remainder of the NBA Playoffs.

That's a scary thought for the Nuggets and the rest of the league.
