The Memphis Grizzlies were unable to get in the win column following a loss to the Toronto Raptors. However, they have much bigger concerns after center Marc Gasol suffered an ankle injury late in the game.
The severity of the injury is still unknown. According to ESPN's Tim McMahon, Gasol is confident that it will not be an issue moving forward:

Gasol's update is certainly encouraging. His absence would deal a crushing blow to Memphis' stellar start to the 2018-19 NBA season. Fortunately, it appears that he is not expecting to miss any time with the injury.
It is no secret that the Grizzlies have gotten off to a surprising start to the year. They enjoyed a brief stay atop the Western Conference standings before dropping three games in a row. Memphis now currently owns the fifth spot in the West. However, they may drop even further if they do not find a way to win soon.
Marc Gasol enjoyed a stellar performance in the team's loss to the Raptors. He finished with 27 points, four rebounds, and four assists in 39 minutes. The Grizzlies will undoubtedly need to proceed with caution regarding his injury. Fortunately, he will have adequate time to rest up before Memphis hits the road to face the Brooklyn Nets on Friday. It will be interesting to see if Gasol will be able to make the trip.
