The Houston Rockets take on the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday. Nuggets head coach Michael Malone knows his team is in for a big challenge, as Rockets star James Harden makes his way to The Mile-High City.
Malone claims “not one guy” can guard Harden one-on-one in the NBA. The Beard is leading the league in scoring for the third consecutive season:
Michael Malone on the challenge James Harden will present tomorrow night: “Not one guy in the NBA can guard him one-on-one. You have to do it as a group and hope some of their other guys aren’t hitting shots at a high level.”

Harden is averaging 39.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 7.6 assists per game on the season while shooting 42.5 percent from the field, 34.0 percent from beyond the arc and 88.2 percent from the free-throw line.

The Rockets, led by Harden and Russell Westbrook, are on fire right now. Houston has won eight games in a row and is 11-3 on the season, good for second place in the Western Conference standings.
Can Harden average 40.0 points per game this season? It's possible. It's pretty incredible how Harden is still scoring the ball at will despite playing with Westbrook, who is another ball-dominant player.
The Nuggets will try their best to slow down Harden on Wednesday, but that's easier said than done. So far this season, no one has had an answer for Harden, who is well on his way to winning the scoring title again. The Rockets are hoping this time around, Harden can lead the franchise to a title.
