Austin Rivers followed a similar path as his dad, Doc Rivers, carving out an NBA career as he has excelled in his role with the Houston Rockets.
While it could be too early to tell, Austin could have a chance to do the same after he revealed that he and his girlfriend are having a baby boy.
Gender reveals have become a popular trend around the world and people have manufactured different ideas on how to do it. Athletes have typically hit a baseball with the color of the gender inside or thrown a football that reveals the gender of the baby.
Also, for basketball players, dunking a ball with either pink or blue powder inside has become the norm. In Rivers' gender reveal, his girlfriend lobbed him a small basketball and the Rockets guard dunked it, only for it to reveal the color blue before it goes through the net.
