There are so many qualities to like about New York Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis. The young Latvian’s emergence as a big-time scorer has stood out this season now that he’s finally been given the opportunity to unleash his wide array of offensive skills onto the league.

“What I see most beyond scoring is his court vision. He has great vision,” King said. “And you don’t always see that in players. And when I say great court vision, he has court vision of a guard.

“That’s rare to see that in a big man, particularly of his size. I don’t know if we’ve ever seen that before.”

Porzingis’ guard-like court vision is just part of what makes him the Unicorn. As King points out, it’s just not common for a 7-foot-3 giant to be blessed with the type of vision and court awareness that Porzingis possesses. It's also not common for 7-foot-3 players to move as gracefully or to shoot as well from beyond the arc as Porzingis does. He's just a unique player in that way.

Porzingis' court vision an underrated and overlooked part of his game, but it’s important nonetheless, especially since he has the unselfishness to use that vision to pass to his teammates whenever he gets the chance.
