In his third season in the league, New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis has seen exponential growth in his individual game on the court.
It has drawn much praise from many of peers around the league and now has reached impressing Hall of Famer and former Knicks great Bernard King, according to Ian Begley of ESPN.

“That’s rare to see that in a big man, particularly of his size. I don’t know if we’ve ever seen that before.”
The 22-year-old has seen significant jumps in his offensive numbers through the first month of the season, averaging 27.8 points on 48.1 percent shooting from the field and 41.8 percent from beyond the arc through 14 games played. He also set the franchise record with 300 points scored through the first 10 games while averaging 30.0 points over that span.
Porzingis has quickly become a uniquely talented player with his ability to stretch the floor beyond the three-point line while also creating his own shot either off the dribble or down in the post while showing the mobility of a guard despite being 7-foot-3. This has made him a nightmare matchup on a nightly basis because of that combination of talent and size.
With Porzingis barely scratching the surface of his potential, there could be much more praise thrown his way as he further develops into a premier player in the league.
