When it comes to New York Knicks star forward Kristaps Porzingis, a dip in his shooting production as of late has him questioning his playing style and why he's not getting fouled enough.

In an article written today by Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News, Porzingis is becoming frustrated because he's being fouled on his arm a lot when he releases his shot but still won't get the call.

“It makes me super mad, those little touches on the arm, on the elbow, I know they’re small but they affect my shot so much and I’m confused,” Porzingis said. “I’m thinking, ‘Should I change my game?’ Because I shoot those shots so many times over guys and it makes me mad I’m not able to get those calls.”

Porzingis especially made it clear during Thursday night's 119-107 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. He said that he was not getting calls after what he believed were clear fouls.

“I try to tell them about it before the games. But I think the refs, they have their own team and they talk about those kinds of things so they know what’s going on. They know those are the type of things they have to look at,” Porzingis said. “Maybe it’s too hard to see, I don’t know. Maybe I’m too high up, I’m too long.”

Porzingis, who since returning from a left knee injury, is just 33-for-97 over that five-game span. Still, the star Latvian forward is averaging a whopping 24.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots per game in roughly 32.1 minutes of action per contest.

The Knicks have lost four straight games after their impressive 102-93 victory over the Boston Celtics last week. New York has fallen to 17-18 and will look to bounce back Saturday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.
