As the New York Knicks welcome the return of Joakim Noah to their lineup from a PED suspension, they will also be faced with a decision to make on the future of their young forward, Mindaugas Kuzminskas. However, the Lithuanian international recently made it known that he is already aware that he has been placed by the team on the trade block, per Laura Albanese of Newsday.

Kuzminskas even understands that he could be dealt on Sunday, but he remains unfazed, as he knows he still has his best basketball ahead of him. He also added that if the Knicks want to retain him though, he'll gladly stay and contribute to their cause.

“I think the next three years are going to be the best of my career, I hope, because I’ve never felt so good — physically, mentally,” Kuzminskas said.

“If it is possible to play here, I would be more than happy. I think to play here, to win here is a great feeling, especially this year, when we’re playing pretty good, winning more games, the atmosphere in the gym is great and everything. If it is possible for me to play here, of course I would like to stay, and if not, I would just like to play.”

While most teams currently have full lineups, there could be some that may be intrigued with the potential of Kuzminskas. There will always be a market for an energetic forward who can make shots from long distance. It remains to be seen though how things will pan out for him, but one thing certain is a decision will be made by the Knicks soon, which will certainly affect his future.
