Eric Bledsoe isn’t likely to be a Phoenix Suns player for much longer following his controversial tweet on Sunday citing his unhappiness in Phoenix. Meanwhile, the New York Knicks are in desperate need of a proven starting point guard and should be in the market for someone of Bledsoe's caliber.
According to Newsday’s Al Iannazzone, the Knicks have indeed made contact with the Suns for a possible deal for Bledsoe, but have not had discussions in over a week.
League source confirms that the Knicks have spoken to the Suns about Eric Bledsoe. I'd expect Frank Ntilikina's name came up.

Also, suns have been talking to teams for a while about Bledsoe. I'm hearing Knicks haven't spoken to them in about a week.

The Suns will likely target two of the Knicks’ best young players, Frank Ntilikina and Willy Hernangomez in any deal involving Bledsoe. However, the Knicks are reportedly not interested in moving either at this point. This despite Hernangomez’s lack of playing time to start the season.
The Knicks’ insistence to hold onto their young players is likely a factor why they haven’t held talks with Phoenix for over a week. Perhaps this is just posturing from the Knicks in the hopes of Phoenix selling a little lower on their disgruntled star.
The Knicks will presumably make contact again sometime soon following the developments in Bledsoe's situation. However, those talks might not lead to a deal if the Knicks truly believe Ntilikina and Hernangomez are untouchable and are unwilling to soften their stance on them.
