The New York Knicks are working into developing a better relationship with Janis Porzingis, brother and agent of star forward Kristaps Porzingis. General manager Scott Perry believes fostering this improvement is a key priority, as the 6-foot-7 Janis; a former professional basketball player in Europe, made some comments earlier this month that were perceived as potential red flags for the future of the unicorn in a Knicks uniform.

You can’t escape the reality and the Knicks must also see that.”
Kristaps Porzingis has started to bloom into the all-around superstar the Knicks had expected him to be after he was drafted with the N0. 4 overall pick in 2015, putting up an NBA third-best 28.9 points per game through the early stretch of the season.
Janis was also the one justifying his brother's skip on exit meetings as a power move for leverage and to express his discontent with the way the franchise was being run.
