OKLAHOMA CITY — Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic picked up a second technical in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's 136-120 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. After earning the ejection, Doncic was quick to point at a fan in the front row of the Paycom Center, but for NBA official J.T. Orr, it didn't matter. Luka's comment crossed a proverbial line for the referee, leading to a second technical foul at a critical point in the final frame.
The self-proclaimed “Courtside Tattoo Dude,” also known as Jeremy Price, has come forward with his side of what went down with Doncic, which led to the ejection, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin's X, formerly Twitter.
“During the game within the game, I mentioned that he was short and he missed it and he turned around and he shot an explicative [sic] back and J.T. [Orr] happened to see it and that point, T’d him up.”
For the die-hard Thunder fan and season ticket holder, it wasn't the first time he tried to get under Doncic's skin as he revealed he shouted things toward Luka during last year's playoff series between the Thunder and the Dallas Mavericks, per McMenamin.
“Thunder fan Jeremy Price, who called himself “a.k.a. The Courtside Tattoo Dude,” said he engaged in trash talk with Luka Doncic before,” McMenamin reported. “Absolutely. Last season, matter of fact, when he was a Maverick in the playoffs. But all within the game.”
LeBron James reacts to Luka Doncic ejection after Lakers loss

After the loss, Lakers All-Star LeBron James shared his take on Luka Doncic's ejection. James believes the referee took the matter personally.
James reacted to it during his postgame availability.
“It was a weird couple minutes after that — starting with the ejection,” James said. “I don't know why the ref was taking it personal… Just weird as hell after that moment.”
The Lakers will face the Mavericks on Wednesday.
